Swindon Pickleball is run by a small group of dedicated players who give their time to organise sessions, festivals, leagues and events. Important meetings are often discussed down the pub, then backed up with plenty of planning and organisation (down the pub).
We’re all active members of the club, passionate about pickleball, willing to roll our sleeves up to get the courts and events ready to make every session welcoming, fun and well run.
Keeps the wheels turning and the courts busy. Drives the ideas of the club, organises events, ensures we deliver and make it fun.
Master of the festival boards and behind‑the‑scenes organisation. Helps keep festivals running to schedule and players moving on and off court efficiently.
Not only Katie’s partner in crime when it comes to running the boards at festivals, but key in setting up, weekly sessions and organising events. Make him a cake to get on his good side.
If something needs doing, Winch (or Not Shaun) is your guy! Helps to setup weekly sessions and all the events.
Helps with weekly setups, social media, runs training sessions, welcomes new starters, and is never short of an opinion on how pickleball should be played, or what equipment to buy.
Always happy to dress up and get players involved, Shimmy helps keep Swindon Pickleball entertaining by corralling players into fun social media videos and capturing the lighter side of club life.
